Web Summit Qatar 2026 returned to Doha as the country accelerates its push to become a küresel technology and innovation hub. Opening with the announcement of an additional $2 billion for Qatar’s Fund of Funds and a new 10-year residency programme for entrepreneurs, the summit highlighted how policy, capital and talent are converging.
With more than 30,000 attendees from 127 countries, the event showcased Qatar’s expanding startup ecosystem through initiatives such as Startup Qatar, which have already attracted thousands of applications and invested tens of millions of dollars into emerging companies.
